Omar Leander Langley, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 10, 2017, in Kinston, North Carolina. Omar was found unconscious in his vehicle, a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, at the intersection of Vernon and McLewean Streets. The car had numerous bullet holes in the driver's side door and broken windows. Despite the efforts of first responders, Omar was pronounced dead shortly after being discovered.
