John Nathaniel Palmer Jr., a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 25, 2022, in Kinston, North Carolina. Palmer was shot and killed while riding his bicycle to work early that morning. The incident occurred near the intersection of Adkin Street and East Bright Street. Palmer was a dedicated worker, employed at UNC Lenoir Healthcare, and was known for his outgoing and positive personality.
