In the early morning hours of Thursday, May 7, 2026, the life of 28-year-old Marquez Jamal Lewis was tragically cut short in Kinston, North Carolina. Just after midnight, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the Kinston Police Department received reports of gunshots in the vicinity of Stadiem Drive and Nobles Lane.
