Roy Lewis Moore Sr., a 71-year-old African American man from Winston-Salem, NC, tragically passed away on December 25, 2021. He was born on March 30, 1950, in Surry County, North Carolina. Mr. Moore was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, four sisters, and five brothers. He is survived by his wife Hattie Mae Simmons Moore, three daughters, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
