Elante Nasir Thompson, a 23-year-old Black man, tragically lost his life on January 29, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 11:40 PM when several suspects shot into a home on Woodside Avenue and another on Leigh Avenue. None of the victims were residents of the homes that were targeted. Three people were shot, and friends drove them to area hospitals. While two of the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Elante Nasir Thompson was later pronounced deceased ...
