Omar Williams, a 43-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 28, 2022, in east Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Sharon Chase Road near North Sharon Amity Road. Officers responded to the scene around 8 p.m. and found Williams suffering from gunshot wounds.
