Anthony Giles, a 23-year-old man from Durham, North Carolina, was fatally shot on September 11, 2022. The incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m. along state Route 55 and Apex Highway, north of the Interstate 40 interchange. The shooting left three other men wounded and two cars struck by gunfire.
