Kenneth Bernard Covington, a 26-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on December 3, 2014, in Durham, North Carolina. Covington was found in a bullet-riddled car near Durham Regional Hospital early that morning. Authorities reported that he was shot while driving in the 200 block of Carver Street between North Roxboro Street and Crabtree Avenue.
