On March 25, 2016, 40-year-old Larry Alford and 34-year-old Brenda Whitaker were found shot to death inside a crashed car in Durham, North Carolina. Police responded to the scene after reports of gunfire and discovered the victims. Their deaths were part of a double homicide, and the investigation sought answers as to the motive and individuals responsible for the crime.
