Death by Force

On the morning of February 8, 2024, at approximately 6:54 a.m., Durham police responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 4500 block of Denfield Street in northern Durham. Upon arrival, officers discovered 40-year-old Laron Dante Allen suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him deceased at the scene.
