On March 22, 2019, Brock Niebuhr, a 36-year-old resident of Dike, Iowa, died under tragic and bizarre circumstances. The incident occurred at the Fairbank home of his father, Daniel Niebuhr. According to the Bremer County Sheriff's Office, Daniel Niebuhr, who was 59 years old at the time, shot his son while Brock was sitting on a couch watching TV.
