Jermaine Hailey, a 32-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 26, 2022, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred around midnight in the 2600 block of Belhaven Drive, where Hailey was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, Hailey succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The authorities quickly determined that the shooting was not random, suggesting that Hailey was specifically targeted.
