Death by Force

Jethro McLaurin, a 44-year-old male from Fayetteville, NC, was tragically killed on September 9, 2022. The incident occurred just before midnight on Spike Rail Drive, near John B. Carter Road. McLaurin was shot after reportedly displaying a gun to his former roommate, who was also shot but managed to flee the scene. The roommate later told deputies that McLaurin had shot him. The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office has been investigating the case, but no arrests have been made so far.
