Frederick Matthew Smith, a 26-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on October 10, 2015, in Fayetteville, NC. Smith, a retired Army PFC, was fatally shot on Tammy Street near Highway 210. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they found a person performing CPR on Smith, who was then rushed to Cape Fear Valley Health System, where he was pronounced dead.
