Rayqwan J. Williams, a 19-year-old African American male from Fayetteville, NC, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2018. He was found with a gunshot wound at a home on McDougal Drive in the Arran Lakes neighborhood. Emergency workers were called to the scene around 3:45 a.m., but unfortunately, Williams was pronounced dead upon their arrival. The incident marked the second homicide in Fayetteville within a span of five days.
