Nicole Connors, a 52-year-old African American woman, was tragically killed on October 13, 2022, in a mass shooting in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the Hedingham neighborhood, where Connors was found shot on her front porch alongside her dog, Sammy.
