In a tragic turn of events, a young woman's life was cut short in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jennifer Paquita Sanchez Solis, a 19-year-old Hispanic female, was fatally shot on the morning of Thursday, February 19, 2026. The incident occurred in the 3000 block of Avery Street. Emergency services transported her to a local hospital, but she ultimately succumbed to her injuries. Known affectionately as "Paquita," she was the American-born daughter of migrants from Loma Bonita, Oaxaca.
