Shaquille Deonte Bratcher, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 18, 2022, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on South Raeford Road, near the Fayetteville VA Health Care Center. Bratcher was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck multiple times by gunfire. The driver of the vehicle, who was also injured, lost control and crashed into an embankment.
The Fayetteville Police Department is actively investigating the case.
