On a cool December evening in New Orleans, a burst of gunfire shattered the night, leaving a young man fighting for his life. Derek Glen Williams, a 25-year-old male, was discovered at the intersection of Clio and South White Street on December 10, 1998, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he clung to life for ten days. Tragically, on December 20, 1998, Derek Glen Williams succumbed to his injuries.
