Gerald Glen Barnes Jr., a 21-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on January 17, 2012, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the son of Gerald Glen Barnes Sr. and Eldora Young McDonald, and the stepson of Johnny McDonald. Gerald Jr. was also the father of the late Phoebe Bella Barnes and had numerous siblings, including Kenyatta Jones, Anthony, Brandon, D'Sean, Tevin Young, Paul, Matthew Hawthorne, Lorielle Roby, Rodney Williams, and Andrea Brown.
