In the spring of 2014, the life of Corinthian Monta Derell Robertson, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On March 27, Robertson, a native and resident of the city where he worked as a landscaper, was killed by an act of gun violence. At the time of his death, he was a father to three young daughters, A'Naiya, Loyalty, and Nevaeh, and was awaiting the birth of his son.
