In the spring of 2014, the city of New Orleans was struck by a series of violent acts that left a community in fear. Among the victims was Lanisha Kelly Scott, a 22-year-old female, whose life was tragically cut short on April 12th. She was in the Central City neighborhood, near the intersection of Dryades and Washington, when she was fatally gunned down.
