Maurcell Andris "Tigga" Mitchell, a 16-year-old African American male from Harvey, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on December 7, 2014. Maurcell was a student at Cohen College Prep High School and a member of Thompson Temple . His untimely death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Angus Drive in Harvey.
