LaQuinn "Hammer" Nicholas, a 14-year-old African American male, passed away on April 18, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a resident of Algiers and a native of the Cut Off area, where he played football and basketball for the CutOff Warriors. LaQuinn was a student at Paul B. Habans School. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stacey Sartin and LaQuinn Keith "Bo" Ancker, and his great-grandmother, Grace Christopher.
