On January 25, 2024, a fatal shootout occurred at an apartment building in the 4200 block of Northwest South Tamiami Drive in Miami, Florida, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Stefan Iglesias. Iglesias was found in a pool of blood with a firearm near his body and had been shot in the neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
