Ariel Rios, a 28-year-old Puerto Rican male, was an undercover special agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). On December 2, 1982, he was tragically killed during an undercover operation in Miami, Florida. Rios and his partner, Alexander D'Atri, were part of the Vice President's South Florida Task Force, tasked with combating drug trafficking.
