On August 27, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the Goulds neighborhood of Miami-Dade County, Florida. The victim, identified as 29-year-old James Darnell Jerome Dukes, was shot multiple times outside his residence.

According to the police, the incident happened around 2:40 a.m. when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of Southwest 119th Avenue and 224th Street. Upon arrival, they found Dukes suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was outside his home with friends ...
