Johnell Ovide, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 21, 2015, in Harvey, Louisiana. The incident occurred on Father's Day, when Ovide and his cousin, Trammell Marshall, were ambushed inside a small apartment on Apache Drive. The attack was orchestrated by Dartanya Spottsville, who, along with two accomplices, Jacobie Green and Johnell Walker, entered the apartment armed and opened fire without provocation.
