In the summer of 2017, a life was tragically cut short in Harvey, Louisiana. Eighteen-year-old Israel Davis, an African American male, was fatally wounded on July 24th of that year. The incident unfolded after Davis had an exchange with another individual and then got into a vehicle. As the car began to drive away, it was met with a hail of bullets.
