Israel Davis, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 24, 2017, in Harvey, Louisiana. The incident occurred when Davis was involved in an exchange with another individual and subsequently got into a car. As the vehicle began to leave, it came under gunfire. A bullet shattered the back windshield, striking Davis in the head and causing fatal injuries.
