Artez Hamilton, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 19, 2015, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred at 4353 Southpark Drive, where Hamilton was fatally shot. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Cedrick Smith, a 19-year-old male, in connection with Hamilton's murder.
