In the early evening of June 17, 2021, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Israel Jerome Crockett Jr., a 20-year-old African American male, was fatally wounded in what authorities have described as an accidental shooting. The incident unfolded in the 6700 block of Ford Street around 7:45 p.m.
