Anthony Washington, 44, was a Black man who was killed in the early morning hours of October 12, 2015, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Before dawn had fully settled into the neighborhood, Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a “shots fired” call in the 1500 block of Clover Street. When they arrived, they found Washington suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
