In an unexpected and tragic turn of events on a Friday night in Alexandria, Louisiana, a life was cut short. Courtney Honore, a 29-year-old male, was struck by a single projectile. The seemingly minor nature of the weapon, an air pellet gun, belied the fatal consequences of the encounter.
