Myeisha McDaniels, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on January 2, 2016, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Myeisha was an aspiring neurosurgeon and a graduate of Dillard University. She was the first homicide victim of the year in New Orleans.
