Elton Wayne Madison, a 37-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2016, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred during an ambush-style shooting at a local tire shop in the Cherokee Park area. Madison, along with another victim, Leatrick Benjamin, also 37, was killed in the early morning hours.
