Christopher Clay Nichols, a 43-year-old man from Shreveport, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on August 4, 2016, in Oil City, Louisiana. Nichols, who was visiting a friend on Ferry Lake Road, sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the neck. The incident occurred just after 10 p.m., and Nichols' friend immediately sought help from a neighbor, who then called 911. Nichols was transported to North Caddo Hospital in Vivian, where he was pronounced dead.
