In the quiet afternoon of January 8, 2020, in Marrero, Louisiana, a burst of gunfire shattered the calm and tragically ended the life of 24-year-old Michael Green Jr. Green, a male resident of Marrero, was riding his bicycle along Ames Boulevard when he was fatally shot.

The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office was alerted to the incident, and deputies arrived at the scene to find Green suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, the young man's injuries proved fatal. The ...
