Kendrick Ussin, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 22, 2016, in Harvey, Louisiana. His body was discovered in the courtyard area between two apartment buildings on Alex Kornman Boulevard. Kendrick was later pronounced dead at University Medical Center. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, but it was later confirmed that he had been a victim of homicide.
