Bowie J. Richard, a 21-year-old White/Caucasian male from Harvey, Louisiana, known by his stage name 'Yung Kaptin,' was fatally shot in the early morning hours of January 18, 2014. The incident that led to his death began with a fight inside the Edge Sports Bar in Harvey, which then escalated outside. At approximately 2:40 a.m., Richard was shot in the head. He was a husband and a father to two children, and was known for his passion for music.
