In the quiet community of Bayou Black, Louisiana, the life of 87-year-old Anthony Dale Lirette came to a tragic and violent end on Friday, October 14, 2016. A resident of the area his entire life, Mr. Lirette was a man deeply connected to his family and the bayou he called home. After serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, he returned to Louisiana and worked for Texaco for 32 years before retiring.
