Demond Johnson, a 27-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the evening of October 19, 2016, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m. near an apartment building in the 2700 block of Alaska Street, not far from the campus of Louisiana State University.

According to reports, police were called to the scene where they discovered Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting. At the initial stage of the inve ...
