In the late hours of a November evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a dispute tragically escalated, claiming the life of 32-year-old Eric Jerard Jones. The male victim was a fry cook at Sammy's Grill and a father. On November 19, 2016, in the 1600 block of Jade Avenue, an argument between Jones and another man, Clarence Eugene Parker, intensified into a physical altercation.
