In the quiet neighborhood of Milneburg in New Orleans, the evening of January 9, 2017, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When the chaos subsided, 27-year-old Alfred Hamilton, a man known for his friendly and selfless nature, lay dead. Another man was also wounded in the double shooting, a violent end to what should have been an ordinary Monday.
