In the summer of 2022, a 40-year-old man, Gregory M. Johnson, a native of New Orleans, lost his life to gun violence. On the evening of Sunday, June 26th, Johnson was discovered inside a car in the St. Claude neighborhood. He had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
