On June 6, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 3600 block of Toledano Street in the Broadmoor area of New Orleans, Louisiana. The victim, identified as 40-year-old James Fletcher, was shot and killed in the incident. The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) received a call about the shooting around 9:39 p.m. and responded to the scene. Upon arrival, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) confirmed that James Fletcher was dead at the scene due to a gunshot wound.
