A 24-year-old man, Russel Frank, was fatally shot in New Orleans on November 11, 2016. The incident that led to his death occurred in the Milan neighborhood.

Following the shooting, at least one suspect was identified in connection with the case. An arrest was later made in California, and the suspect was subsequently jailed in New Orleans.
