In what should have been a day of celebration, a promising young life was tragically cut short. On his 16th birthday, March 13, 2017, Darius Plummer, a male resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was shot and killed. The incident occurred in an apartment in the 4700 block of Southpark Drive. Despite the efforts of medical responders who transported him to a nearby hospital, Plummer succumbed to his injuries.
