Darius Plummer, a 16-year-old African American male, was tragically shot in the head on March 13, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 4700 block of Southpark Drive. Plummer was found mortally wounded by paramedics after a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot around 12:55 p.m. Despite efforts to save him, Plummer later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
