Curley James Woods, a 57-year-old African American male, was found dead on July 12, 2018, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 3:50 AM in the 2400 block of Jackson Avenue. Woods was discovered in the roadway, suffering from apparent gunshot injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The initial investigation did not reveal any suspects or motives.
