In the late autumn of 2013, the life of 35-year-old Kenneth Barton, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. On the morning of Friday, November 22, his body was discovered in a canal in the 2700 block of Cedar Avenue. Investigators believe that Barton was shot and killed during a break-in at a home.
