On June 27, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at a residence located at 1079 Townsley Street near Scenic Highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The victims of this incident were identified as Joseph Profit, 48, and Robin Hayes, 52. Joseph Profit was shot multiple times and was pronounced deceased at the scene, while Robin Hayes was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
